Kevin: First off, it was about 80 degrees in the restaurant. I could not believe how hot it was. We ordered our drinks and so far, everything was fine, just hot! They brought some bread to the table, and it was very fresh and delicious. As we are waiting on our salads to arrive and dying in the heat of an Atlanta in August, our entrees are brought out. I let the food runner know that we never received our salad, but we will take the entrees. About 4 bites into my Linguine and clams, my Caesar salad is brought to the table. I told the gentleman; I did not want it any longer and proceeded with my entree. There as a lot of clams in the dish, that was a nice surprise, but the pasta was way overcooked and mushy. Not what I had expected based on what I had heard about this restaurant. Our server never came out after she took our order, we only communicated with the person who brought our food. Another server was walking by after we were finished and asked if we needed our check. Didn't ask us how everything was, if we needed anything, or if we wanted dessert. Just as well, if the dessert is anything like the pasta or service, probably just been disappointed anyway.
Melissa: I am always cold, but even for me, it was stifling in there. The bread they bring is really, really good. There are a couple of different types and fresh. I ordered the Caprese salad and was very disappointed. As you can see in the picture, the tomatoes were not ripe, so they had no flavor. The mozzarella did not seem fresh, it reminded me of the pre-sliced mozz that Publix sells. Kevin's linguine had no flavor, and we needed to add a ton of salt along with the pasta being overcooked. Again, the service was the nail in the coffin for me. There pretty much was no service. I have no interest in going back, there are other Italian restaurant that are authentic and have better ingredients and service.
