Kevin: MF Bar is located in Avalon and is very convenient for lunch or dinner.  We were greeted upon arrival and offered water while we wait for our server.  I loved that touch of service and it set the mood for the meal.  The miso soup was very good and arrived quickly.  Our next course was our salads.  We ordered both a ginger salad and an octopus salad.  The octopus salad had good flavor but could have used more octopus.  The ginger salad was just okay.  We ordered three rolls, and all were very good.  When we finished our dish, and our server hadn't made it by yet, another server cleared our table for us.  I was very impressed with the service throughout but didn't love watching all the servers stand around and talk at the end of the bar.  

Melissa:  I love Avalon and sushi so it's difficult to go wrong here.  I have no real issues with anything - service was great from the hostess to servers and of course, I like the water service offer.   The octopus salad was good, and the octopus was tender, but I enjoyed the ginger salad (it is different than hibachi restaurants) - I liked the chunks of carrots and ginger (I LOVE ginger).  We ordered the Toro Osaka roll, spicy yellowtail and Negitoromaki roll and they were all really good and will come back again.
