Kevin: We visited Ray's for our friend's birthday party, and Justin was our server, and he was amazing. We had oyster for an appetizer, a Caesar salad, Ribeye, and Key Lime Pie. The oysters were cold water from the Northeast and fresh and delicious. The Ribeye was awesome, and the service was perfect. If I were to be a little picky about anything, the Key Lime pie was a little sweet. But, overall, the whole visit from front door through completion, was a wonderful experience. When making reservations, ask to sit by the river. We didn't, but what a view. If I were to go back, I would for sure. The view is incredible.
Melissa: Ray's was a wonderful experience - from the valet to the bartenders to our server, everyone was friendly, professional and in Justin's case, patient. We initially sat at the bar because Kevin insists on being at least 30 minutes early for everything. We enjoyed a drink and oysters which were great. We shared a ribeye that was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. For dessert, we had key lime pie and coffee/Bailey's. Key lime was good but not my favorite. I thought it was a little too sweet. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would absolutely go back and would encourage people to visit.

Kevin: This is a really cool and trendy taco bar. Once seated, you will order your food from your phone. You can also do re-orders as well. Upon finishing you will also check out through your phone. I found this to be a little different, but enjoyable. Now, the food. We started with the Trio for an appetizer. It was two salsas, guac, and chips. Both salsas were very good and fresh. I don't eat guac, so I can't speak to that. For our taco orders, we ordered, Baja fish, pork belly, ribeye, chicken Verde, duck, chorizo, tuna, oyster, and mushroom. They all had very different flavors, but all were very good. My favorite was probably the ribeye or the chicken, but you won't go wrong with any of them. This is a great place for lunch with family or to catch up with a friend.
Melissa: I love Bartaco - we ate here 3 days in a row. It is a little odd not having a server, but I actually enjoyed being able to order and pay via phone. The trio was really good - the salsa verde was the best, in my opinion. Since Kevin took the time to list all the tacos we ordered, I won't. The pork belly and ribeye were my favorite. The mushroom was just okay but the others were phenomenal. We get together on Sundays and Bartaco inspired a brunch for us. Also, it is cashless.

Kevin: Fairly new restaurant in downtown Canton. The restaurant is really cute and nicely appointed. While going to restroom I realized just how big it is. Most of the restaurants on this street are relatively small. We ordered some cheese dip and I had the chicken tortilla soup. Melissa had the Ribeye quesadilla. Service was pretty good and the soup and the quesadilla were pretty good as well. All the food from the chips and salsa all the way through the entrees were very high in food quality. But, I felt everything lacked any flavor. The price point is more than your average Mexican restaurant, but the food quality is significantly better as well. It does not feel overpriced, just wished the food was seasoned a little more.
Melissa: I was so excited to try this new downtown Canton restaurant. I like the inside decor and vibe. Our server did a good job I but did see another server roll her eyes while walking away from her table and other tables searching for theirs. The food quality is impressive - everything was fresh and high quality. There wasn't anything we had that wasn't good, but it was all bland. Maybe it's so you are able to taste the quality (idk) but I prefer more seasoned food.

Kevin: The service was definitely on point at this restaurant. We started with the octopus appetizer, and wow! It was a great start. One of the best apps I have ever had. Then I had a salad and the veal Parmigiana. There was no disappointment with any dish here. We also had a tiramisu and coffee for dessert. Valet means you don't have to find a parking spot, and I thoroughly enjoyed this dinner and would highly recommend it.
Melissa: The parking is awful so I was grateful to see valet. The service was prompt, friendly, and professional - top-notch. I had the Ravioli di Brasato which did not disappoint. I also loved the Peach House across the street.

Kevin: We went to Gracious and Plenty after driving past several it times. It seemed very busy and has a nice outside dining area. I ordered Bruce's Plate, a side of gravy and a bloody Mary. My breakfast was very good, but I wasn't impressed with the gravy. The bloody Mary was flavorful, but very spicy. Normally, I like them spicy, but wow, it was spicy. Service was a little off. When our server was at our table, he was awesome and attentive. But I would say the overall service was slow. Food quality was outstanding and outside dining was very nice.
Melissa: We've driven by so many times and it's always busy so I was excited to try Gracious and Plenty. The outside dining area is super cute and feels like your front porch sitting. The greeter was friendly but the table service was slow. Our server was great with providing information for people who haven't visited before but was pretty much MIA after that. I had a bloody mary and a latte - both were great but the bloody mary was a touch too spicy for me. I ordered the build-your-own bowl with hash browns, chicken sausage, an egg, pimento cheese, onions and mushrooms. It was flavorful and I would go back and order the same thing.

Kevin: The food is unbelievable. We had the mussel appetizer and the pork tacos. For our entree, I had the Italian pizza. Everything was very good, full of flavor and service was attentive and professional. This is a sister restaurant of Little Alley. It is not the same price point or the same feel as you walk in. But that doesn't mean it isn't good, it is. They have one in Woodstock, Roswell, and Alpharetta. We visited Roswell and it is a great place for date night or a place to relax for some great food.
Melissa: I really like Salt. The mussels are excellent - they have a lot of flavor and the bread that accompanies it is really good as well. I had the chicken fried chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes. Delicious!!! Everything about the dish was phenomenal - so much flavor.

Kevin: This is located in the Halcyon community. The reviews online were great, so we thought we would try it out. First, the community of Halcyon is amazing. Tons of restaurants, green space and an overall nice feeling of community. The restaurant we busy, but we were seated right away. We sat on the patio, and it was a nice set up with the large doors open to the bar. It is tapas and we ordered several items, and all were outstanding. My favorites were the short rib and the octopus. But everything was really good as ordered a second round of dishes. Service was adequate but not prompt. We will definitely return, and it would recommend to anyone who loves Spanish food.
Melissa: Halcyon is such a cute place and there are a lot of different restaurant options. It is vibrant and family-friendly while also catering to adults with multiple breweries and really wish I liked beer :(
The patio is nice and I liked the feel and set up. If you have read other reviews, it's obvious that service is extremely important to me. If Kevin wanted to eat here, I would go but I would never pick it, solely based on service. It was painfully slow and not even engaging when they did come around. It is a shame because the food is some of the best food I've ever had. We had chuletas de borrego (grilled lamb chops), castillas espanolas (ribs), brochetas de chorizo y datiles (bacon wrapped chorizo and dates), calamares fritos, queso frito con miel (fried goat cheese) and pulpo a la gallega (octopus). The castillas espanolas and queso frito con miel were my favorite. It is truly a shame the service is so bad because this would be a favorite spot.

Kevin: Pop's is located in downtown Canton, near the square. Think Italian meets McAlister's. You order from the register and they bring it out. Anything from sandwiches to a good Italian meal. I ordered the Daily Grind (Italian cold cut) and we had a Caesar salad. This is a good place to stop in for lunch and just grabbing a quick meal. They also carry small label sodas, which is also a nice change of pace from every other restaurant in the world. Overall good food, good service, and busy place. It is a great addition to the downtown area of Canton.
Melissa: I love the family pictures that are on the walls and the products sprinkled throughout. The atmosphere is lively, bright and clean. I ordered the meatball sub (sammy's sammie). It was very good and I would order again.
