Kevin:  There is a reason this is one of the top restaurants in Atlanta.  They "Wow" you from the time you enter all the way through desert.  Service was perfect and the food was just as good.  It was a little loud in the dining room downstairs and they were smoking cigars at the bar.  Normally those things would really bother me at a dinner like this.  But I have to be honest, it didn't change how I felt about our experience.  If you are looking for a place to take your wife for a special occasion, you can stop.  Hal's is the Place!        

Melissa:  Kevin brought me here for my birthday and it did not disappoint.  We ordered the carpaccio for an appetizer, and it was delicious although I still prefer Little Alley's carpaccio.  I order the Filet (MR) and the creamed spinach.  The filet was cooked perfectly and had great flavor.  The creamed spinach was very flavorful and creamy - exactly how it should be.  The service was attentive but not intrusive, our server was friendly and professional.  I would definitely recommend Hal's for any occasion, but the price point may be better suited to special events.
