Kevin: This has been here forever, but I have never eaten there. We stopped in for lunch after smelling the BBQ smoking. I had the pork and ribs, and the ribs were outstanding. Very tender and great flavor. The pork was also very good, and the Brunswick stew was good as well. You order at the counter, and they bring the food to you. It is a little turn off that they ask for gratuity when there is no server to assist you. As a former server, I am wondering if the tip just goes to the restaurant or what? My last complaint is the bathroom. The bathroom was very dirty and neglected. But the people at the counter were very friendly and available to answer questions.
Melissa: Honestly, we were headed to downtown Roswell (one of favorite places to eat) when Kevin smelled the BBQ, so I was a little disappointed he switched. That was short-lived after I tasted the ribs. They are so tender and delicious!! I ordered the baked beans (tasted like every other baked bean), mashed potatoes (okay) and the cornbread muffin (good). The ribs are definitely the show stealer. The gentleman that takes your order is very nice, but I do agree tipping here is a turn off.
